Reports to: The Board of Directors

Summary:  The Executive Officer is responsible for the overall management and functions of the organization in accordance with its vision and mission. The Executive Officer works under the general oversight of the Board of Directors.

Overview: The Executive Officer, in conjunction with the Board, provides oversight and overall management, planning, vision and leadership for all aspects of the Jewish Christian Muslim Association of Australia (JCMA) including programs and services, finance, resource development, human resources, member services, and communications. The Executive Officer assumes a leadership role in partnering with collaborating businesses, foundations, government officials, other interfaith groups, peak bodies for Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities and supporters. The Executive Officer works with the Board and Board Committees to establish vision, policies, strategic focus, priorities, and general scope of programs the centre will deliver. The Executive Officer will play a key role in securing the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
